What about the good day of Saturday Night Live???? You know back when it was funny. "Oh no Mr. Bill" loved that show.

It's funny I was pretty young when I watched back then and when I watch the reruns now I am sure I didn't get half the humor out of it then that I do now simply because I didn't get it. SNL used to be soooo damn funny but it sure isn't now. :(

I forgot about that one.
I always got a laugh out of the Mr. and Mrs. Whiner skit , who always spoke in that up-talking whiiiiiiiinnnning toooooone. Would like some cheese with that whhhiiiinnne? :D
(I have known people almost that bad. )

Yes it was funny then, just rude, stupid, and insulting now, IMO. Don't watch it anymore.

geesh, you guys/gals have listed so many I forgot about. A local show we watched, that I am sure nobody knows... is Captain 11. He was on forever.

Also, on Saturday nights I remember watching WWF with my dad at supper time.

When my Brother and I were real young tykes We used to get up early before anyone else was awake and make ourselves a bowl of cereal and sit in front of the tv watching the test pattern until the Roy Rodgers show came on. I lost him last nite in a motorcycle accident. I miss him dearly.

How about "Emergency"

Some of your lists are exactly what my old favorite shows are except I dont ever remember hearing of "thundercats" - I even googled it, and still have no idea what it was - weird.

My grandfather knew that guy. I think he was from Missoula.

3 Montana guys went to Hollywood to make it big. Slim Pickins, and two other dudes. One of them was Sky King. I'll find out their names.

Saskatchewan TV back in the day...

My Friend Flicka, Fury, Cheyenne, Maverick, High Chaparral, Have Gun Will Travel (remember Palladin?) basically anything with a horse in it:rolleyes:

As a kid, the worst was sitting through Don Messer's Jubilee, Juliette, Wayne & Shuster, Tommy Hunter and , of course, the news. (this was Canadian TV and 1 channel - wind played havoc with the antenna). A visit to the dentist was better than those shows!!:(

Roy Rogers, rawhide, cisco kid,the loner, wanted dead or alive, have gun will travel, anything western--thank god for the Westerns channel--thats all i usually watch-:D-tired of all the crap on tv:mad:

Thanks Outlaw, I worried about him when he was in Afganistan and then when he went to Iraq then this happens when he is at home with his family in the Phillippines. He will be buried over there where he lived with his wife and two children and we will have a memorial service for him this saturday in my hometown.

hehehe, Lawrence Welk.... Origionally from Strausberg ND (about 50 miles SE of here), So the sign outside of the town says anyway. Wonder how well he liked Minot (100 miles north of here). Long way from home for him. I still run across old guys from around there with his strong accent. They are weeding out though.

did we forget it's a bird, it's a plan, no it's SUPERMAN??

Superman for sure!

Batman for sure too. I remember I used to shout out the words they would flash on the screen during the fights........wap!!, bash!!, bap!!, smack!!, crash!!

a couple others I just remembered are Streets of San Francisco, MOD Squad, and Baretta.
