What boots

I love my hmk's and have had them 3 years, as much riding as I do in a year they have held up pretty good, my feet have gotten wet in them, but it's not from snow, it's from sweat, they just don't breath very well, never get cold in them. Their service is great, plus until this year there was no shop in Laramie that carried Klim. I will buy another set of hmk's this year.

Ditto ! I went to the Klim sock under my HMK boot and it seemed to solve the sweat problem. I rode 600 miles and my socks never got wet again. If you use HMK use a lighter sock and you are golden

i use the baffin pivots , they are a little stiff, but dry and warm as hell on the coldest days.
they have boa's and you can get them pretty tight .. dry and warm , no complaints

i also use redwing boots for warmer days and for shorter rides ,they did start getting cold on me after about -10 or -20 . il use my baffins on anything bellow 10 above now , and 10 above and greater il just use my redwings

cheepest price i found qhwn i bought mine was on ebay actully .
i just linked that page cause it first one i found the link for

I like the klim boots the best and they are cheaper. I blew the toe out of my pro boas in a month. It could have been just one of those deals. They all have them. I had a little hassel getting a new pair. The owner was great to talk to. when I sent them in they lost them.
My first pair of klim's were the warmest boots i've ever had but my feet would be sloppy wet every time. I got the gore tex one's and they are completely dry. I just wish they had the pro boa lacing system.

I have about 5 years use on my Sorel Conquest boots, best winter boot I have ever worn. Warm (thinsulate insulation), light, (more like a hiking boot than a pack boot), waterproof, after 5 years no signs of wear.

I have been riding with the HMK boa's for three years and they are getting tired, but bought a new pair of KLIM's for this season, they are both good boots,we'll see soon enough which is better. My feet where never cold, but often wet from sweat, with the HMK's.

I would pass on RU Outside. We have had 4 pairs in our group and they all leaked. Very confortable, but wet and cold across the board. For the money they are garbage.

I ride in $90 Sorells and have never had any wet or cold feet in several different pairs in 15 years. I have the new Klim gortex and they stay home more often than not.

I have a pair of burton snowboard boots. I love the support, feet never get wet or cold and the soles and out have held up really well.

the only downside is a lot of people don't like how stiff they are, but I've noticed a lot of sled boots getting pretty stiff too.

have the same thing a pair of burton snowboarding boots i can walk around in deep wet snow and my feet stay dry and warm all day. the only down side i have is there a little wider then a klim or hmk boot but overall i love them

Have a new pair of Pro Boas with dry liners size 12 . 150$ shipped. They were not the correct size and i will be ordering another pair

Klim has addressed this problem by changing the material on the inner side of the boot were guys were having durability issues and from what I have heard, they should hold up alot better. Other than that, they are an awesome boot!

I have used Baffins the last three years and they are warm and dry. I had frostbite on both feet, almost lost my toes and was told they would be sensitive to freezing again so after wearing these Baffins Id say they work.

Funny you metion Baffin. I bought some for my wife thinking these are the best boot for her. Within a year they both started leaking. I bought them from Kirkhams and they were cool enough to take them back for full credit. She's wearing the mens HMK boa 2 next year.

I however wear the ruoutside Tundra boot. I paid about 169 bucks for them. They are super warm and dry. Maybe a little bigger than I like. I kinda wish I went with Klim due to the fact they are narrower, making it easier to fit within the running boards.

Klim all the way. Feet stay warm on the coldest days and dry in spring slushy conditions. I find that the boots breath so even when I am sweating my feet are dry at the end of the day. I can't say that about any other boot I have tried.

Well, I think you need to break it down out of what do you want your boots to excel at, every boot has its pros and cons, is it important to have dry feet at the end of the day? Is money a factor? Do you care if you have to tie and untie laces? Do you want a narrow or wide boot? Can you ever imagine a situation where you may have to walk out of the bush in the snow?

I had a hard time choosing boots as well, but I sat down and broke it down to what I was looking for, number one importance for me was staying dry (having something go wrong and spending the night on a mountain with wet feet is really bad! so I look at this as a safety aspect as well as a comfort aspect) number two was that I wanted something that I would be able to walk out in deep snow if I had to, and number 3 I wanted something with some support, I didnt really care about lacing. After this it was pretty clear to go with the Klim adrenalines, since they are the best at keeping your feet dry, you can walk good in deep snow, and they had nice ankle support, but not overdoing it at the same time.

If your most important factor is ankle support, I have heard good things on snowboard boots for that purpose, but the durability seemed to be an issue

I love my Klim Adrenaline's:D Warm, Dry, good support and comfy for me too. After 1,000 miles, they still look new:cool:
