What Boots to get.

I am looking for a pair of boots, looking to spend less than 200. I found a pair of motor fist stomper for 200. Another boot is the FXR X-cross boa, I like the boa system only concern is the sole, is it going to get tore up by the foot pegs? There is always klim adrenaline same concern on the softer sole getting chewed up, and I feel like klim is ovehyped, I know for a fact gore tex is overhyped (I spent last 15 years wearing goretex suit for work). Want to get something that is going to last.

I started in snowboard boots but purchased the Forma Terra's last year. I liked how they looked more like a moto boot compared to just their regular adventures. I know you are looking to spend less than 200 bucks but I think money could be well spent on boots. Its all preference though, I like the stiff sole when riding. Downside is they don't really have insulation so if you get cold easy might be worth looking into sled boots.

Ankle protection would be the only reason for me not to ride in snowmo boots.

I ride in Klim Adrenaline boots and have no issues with footpeg wear.

So my 2 cents is pick a snowmo boot you think will work with your shifter and don't be a pyscho on your footpegs. And don't smash you ankles!

How important is ankle protection? I don't mean to imply that it is not important, in a perfect world we would have the perfect boot that would offer protection, insulation, and be waterproof. How much of a risk there is riding a snow bike, Im a noob to snowbiking. I rode a snowmobile and ankle protection was not an issue, ride a quad and again not a concern. Then again I read on here some guy messed his leg pretty bad hitting a stump. What are people hitting, riding through the trees, early season, where is the risk.

5 years on the bikes in Klim. No issue for me, some have ruined their boots kickstarting bikes, my yz250 has no buttom and for two years my wr button was a joke ?

I have a set of coldwave insulated plastic mx/snox boots. Good protection, warm and very clumsy.

I feel naked tooling around at my cabin without mx boots, snow bike, not so much, some may be hitting stumpps ?, on the snow bike most of the time your are sitting down, so easy to pull up the feet when you skin a tree. Pegs won't tear up the soft soles, the pegs are usually covered in blue ice and you can't find them, I wish my big knarly pegs were a threat to tear up boot soles.

DON'T WORRY,JUST RIDE
