What size bit do i need to use to drill out the upper hole on my 2012 Assault Rmk? I want to try it in both positions, so i'm going to drill it out. I'll ride it one full day stock and then move it up and ride it the very next day to see which position works best for me. Just want to be correct on what bit i use.

Thanks

I don't remember the exact size but I do remember it ended up being something /64th...they should be pre marked on the inside of the tunnel. Start small and increase it a little at a time until you can get the bolts for your suspension mount to go through...tolerences should be real tight but you should be able to slide it in and out by hand.

hey wondering if u can take a few pics and post them so i can see what ur talking about thanks

This is a 2011 Assault front skid bolt location. The Assault comes with the skid located in the lower hole. I was able to dramatically improve my overall riding experience by drilling out the upper hole (stamped) and relocating my skid to that position.
