what bars for my pro? lower and wider

No, the one in my picture is out of their snowmobile catalog. It's an oversized bar, meaning the base is 1⅛ inches rather than the standard ⅞. It tapers down to ⅞ at the grips but offers superior strength. The carbon fiber wrapping prevents any snow from icing and sticking and also transfers heat to the grips very well. Raw aluminum will absorb a lot of the heat from grip heaters.

Fly is also producing a new 'Dan Adams' bar that looks sweet. I'm not sure of the dimensions yet, but I will find out and post.

I thought I would have liked the lower bars, so I bought the Burandt bars. They are not for me, I am going back to stock height and will be selling my bars when I get a chance to swap.

SO... I would ride it before you change anything.

I'll buy the Burandt bars from you if they're in perfect condition.

Thanks,

Ok so the Burandt bars seems to please many riders, but has anyone else been annoyed with the brake on the pro??

Tha brake itself is not to bad, but I find myself lacking fingercontrol with my brake. A large part of it is angle, I cant twist the brake down enough before it catches on the bar.

Has anyone tried to put a different master cylinder/brake lever??

Thanks

AMP swears that their Cat brake lever fits so I plan to get their short throw lever as I ride with my index finger on the brake lever at all times like I do for DH mtn bike racing. The Pro's lever design flat out sucks - hey Polaris, the '70's called, they want their brake lever back!

Yeah, we need bars with a narrower "spread" so that we can space out and rotate the MC downward without hitting. I believe the Burandt Bars do have a narrower spread but I don't know for certain. Would be good to get feedback from others.
