What are you guys running for tethers?

Anyone buy a nice tether lately? I tried to buy the plug and play AC one but they shop said it was NLA. Is the AC one still availbe anywhere? Any good aftermarket ones for a 04 Kingcat?

the one for the 90s polaris works great . you just need a normaly open swich . most cat s are normaly closed but this sled is one of the exctions.

98 and newer are normally open (round kill switch on the handlebars)

97 and earlier were normally closed ignitions (square kill switch)

does anybody know of any different style tethers ?

i hate those usual rubber plug ones

the rubber gets old and cracks giving a guy problems when not conecting and ratling arround

alot of people run PINGEL tethers, I know alot of the drag guys run em.

do a search it should come up!

just wired up the new Teth-air kill system on the boss's sled and I have to admit that it is pretty slick. there is a module under the hood, an antenna on the bars, and a transmitter on you. when you get out of range (this is adjustable by shortening or lengthening the antenna) the sled shuts off. it also has a failsafe mode in the event you lose the transmitter or the batteries die. seemed to work pretty well but it would be wierd to run away from your upside down sled with the throttle stuck in the snow wide open!
