What age do you let your kids start riding their own snowmobile?

I started on a phazer when i was 8 on and off trail. went to a powder special 700 when i was 11, and then i have had an 800 ince then. and im 15 now

I was 4 on the first year of the KittyKat.....fug I'm old!

I figure as long as in a sticky situation the machine cant totally demolish them. My lilk man is just about 8 and only wieghs 45 lbs. so when 10 comes hell still be so small. he wants to go now with dad 2 the mtns.

Lots depends on the kid and how vehicle oriented they are. For my kids it was 5-7 for non-public areas. 10-13 for trail rides on the mt.

Don't have the pics yet but our 2 year old Grandson is KittyCattin around with a rope tied to the back bumper for an "E-Brake" lol!

Reminds me of me when i was that old riding my mini mod. Keep him out there and he will continue to rip up bigger and bigger stuff! Riding is a great way to spend time with the family and a HUGE fun!

I had a late 80's Kitty Kat when I was 4, my bro was 6 at the time. It was my favorite thing to do, only went maybe 8 mph, but it was a blast for a couple years!

My son was 2 when he started riding his Z. He didn't really understand all of it then but he does really good now at age of 3. He really likes to watch others though to make sure they are watching him as he rides. He loves to ride and asks everyday if we can go for a ride. It is pretty cool!

I was 4 years old on a "69" ski-doo in 76!! still riding today with my kids, 13 years,11 years,3.5 years, 20 months. My daughter 3.5 years riding a arctic cat 120 and 20 month old riding a arctic cat kitty cat!!

My boys started on the kitty kat when they were 3 or 4 and started racing snocross last year at 5 and 7. My youngest son started racing Motocross at 4 and was 2nd in State points this year. If a kid has a good understanding of how to ride then any age is good to start.
