Ok,
So I store my sleds in a storage container (sea land). So I decide with the snow finally in the hills I should think about gettin the sleds out for the year. I know most of you have had them out for a while already but I truly have a very busy life and have had no time--realy.
So I have to move a few things and I drag them out (3). Two are 05' summits and 1 is a '93 Polaris. I drag them out and open the hoods and OH MY!!!!!!!! I don't see anything wrong (I got ya there).
So I decide to fire them up. I start with the 800 summit Rev (my sled). I remove my coat and prepare for a few pulls. Three pulls later and the sled is running. Sweet! I let it idle for a few minutes and then run it up to the garage.
Next is the Polaris (kid's sled). I check under the hood and prepare to start. I had to pull on this one for a bit (10 pulls) and she fires up. Sweet!!
Lastly I head for the wifes sled. If mama ain't happy then no ones happy so I have to get this one runnin. It's a 550F with electric start. So, I hit the starter and it fires in about 4-5 seconds. SWEET
No trouble with the sleds at all that I can tell for now with out a test ride.
So we have neighbors over for dinner tonight and I have to get things put away for the night. I lock up the container and garage and head in the the house. I take off my coat and head in. I have to go back out to the garage to get something out of the freezer and
THE GARAGE SMELLS LIKE 2 STROKE/GAS BURNING. I head in to the back porch and it does as well.
What a day I'm now ready to ride--bring on the snow
(yes I have checked out my personal gear and have assisted with two avy classes so I am ready in that regard as well.)
Let er' snow boys!!
