I have about 2400 miles on my hmk pro boa's now..feet get real damp in deep snow..I ended up just wearing my gortex socks..no more wet/damp feet and these boots wet or dry have always been warm even down to -30 riding....
You are kidding right Mod your sled so your boots don't leak? Something is just wrong with this. I think I would be boot shopping if that is the manufactures attitude!
I have a pair of Cabela's Goretex hunting boots I have been using as back-ups. But after a couple or early rides (when the snow was shallow) the support of the HMK's and the way the boots just held to the sled I would rather have those, no comparison. I guess I don't look at them as trendy, but to each his own
Cabelas also sells a Gore-Tex sock that will keep you dry in any boot.
same problem here i wear old klim radium love them super support my rev makes them leak too adding some venting on the back side helped a little i dont want the klim radium gtx way too heavy. the other klims are gortex too and they dont leak for now!! wait till they wear a little. i nowwear seal skins water proof socks about three rides so time will tell i am liking the silicon idea to divert the water which is the problem, also there is a ton of heat comming of that clutch which makes your feet sweat and if you have waterproof sock on this does not allow the sweat to wick. I would love to build a water dam or redirector.
