Rode from Gibson Creek to Tripod Lookout on the ridges, great day and some fresh stuff on the north faces.

A few inches of new snow on top of a thick ice crust, really thick and slick. This is from the rain two weeks ago, rained up to 8,600 feet and then froze solid.

You can go anywhere but there is going to be a huge avalanche potential after the next good snow storm.
