Went up to Tony's Grove Lake to see the white stuff

Me and my friend were bored today so we headed up to Tony's Grove Lake to see how the snow was. If you had a heli you could get some riding in but other wise you would have to make a couple burns across the lake. I snapped a picture on my cell phone I will have to see if they turned out enough to post. I tell you what I miss the snow more then I ever have. I am just shy of needing pills to help cope with my nomoresnowitis:D There were plenty of tourists and Subaru lovers up there.

We did play in snow on the south end of the lake, hardly gave me a fix for my condition, I should have an ipod with the sounds of sleds climbing hills, that would probably help with the effect.

Here are pics off of the cell phone

Funny, we live at Tony's in the winter - never been there in the summer. I should go check it out, but I'm affraid that I'll need some pills too.

Outside of all the tourists it really is a nice place to go up and check out but there are just to many people up there, on a Wednesday the parking lot was damn near full and there were two buses full with tourists. A teenager was fishing and said that he had caught one fish and it was little, and this was at about 1 p.m. so it sounds like the fishing is incredible up there:eek:

But it's a beautiful drive and you can walk to the south end and play in snow:)

I had some friends who are die hard skiers and they hiked up to cornice last week and skied. Said there was still plenty up there.
