Weird wastegate spring issue

2011 Silber Turbo kit.

Changed the low psi spring to the high psi spring in the wastegate yesterday. When the boost controller was turned all towards minus, i hade the same boost i was running on the other spring, about 5-6psi. But when turning the boost controller two rounds i should get 7-8psi in theory, but no difference at all. But when turning it 4-5 rounds it jumps to 15psi when giving it WOT, then it hits dET. Why does it suddenly jump this much, i would like to have it at 8-9psi. And what are the max psi on low psi spring? And the lowest on the high psi spring?

Check the wastegate lever on the turbo. Mine was sticking internally and would do the same thing.

you sometimes have to turn the boost knob 2 full turns before it starts to make a difference... then just do little turns from there.

The lowest I can get with the stiff spring is 8.5lbs

Wastegate level? Not really sure what you mean by that.
One thing i did notice when installing the new spring was that it was longer in length and offcourse stiffer. Also seemed like i needed to use more force to push it when installed, before it suddenly gave in and i could easily push it the rest of the way

I tried that, took two full turns, then turned it 1/4 each time i tested, no difference before suddenly it jumps to 15psi.

Went out a second ago and checked the adjusting and pre-load. Looked good, and the wastegate moved freely when applying force.
