Weird issues with pro

My pro is having similar issues, not pulling rpm. I tried changing weights, springs, valves, all the typical things and with no change. I started calling around and people were telling me that the pistons were probably going bad. So i changed them and now sled is running great.

Did you run a compression check beforehand?

i did not test comp with a guage, but i was told it would probably read ok on a guage its the running comp that will have the issues. under a load and rpm if yur rings are failing they will let the pressure past and mine had tale tale signes of that pitting on the ring faces worn skirts all the black coating was gone on the exhaust side of piston and signes of combustion going down past the rings. new pistons now its running like a champ
