weight of a set up turbo nitro ready to ride, lets hear the truth

Every sled I have ever helped get unstuck was heavy.... unless there were 3 guys gettin it out, xp's included. Only time mines really bad is when nobody can get to me for helping................ Maybe I should lose the turbo:rolleyes:...........nah:D

What do you mean when nobody can get to you. I have to take my socks off to count the number of times I have had to ride up and get your dumbass unstuck. :D I guess that's what friends are for.
Sure you can manage without me this winter?;)
I will be back for next winter so don't give the old guy a heart attack from helping you get unstuck this winter. You know he doesn't like to go where we do. :face-icon-small-ton

That was when he had the last sled. The new one has a few more horse and is a little lighter. You might have to do what I do and go down to get to him, LOL. You should come back though, 'cos this is hard on old guys and I would prefer to sit at the bottom and take pics :D

My apex with 174 track and every lightweight part I could do to it short of carbon fiber...full tank ready to go 565 lbs n/a

My custom Polaris full carbon fiber, titanium bolts ect ect full tank ready to ride 421lbs, 358 dry, 210 hp

so figure a boosted apex goes about 625-635,maybe more... if it makes 325 hp...thats about 1.9 lb per hp

My polaris is right at 2 lbs/HP...

Wow, I would like to see that Apex. How about some pics. You should be able to get a Nytro lighter than an Apex. A turbo doesn't add 65lbs though:confused:

Dam if that thing is 565lbs then so is mine............ I THINK NOT! I hate to say it even though the Apex is an awesome and reliable sled it is heavy.

I want to see a pic of the Polaris

My 174'' SCApex comes in at 628 lbs wet ready to ride. Impossible to get an Apex down to 565 wet. My SC weighs less than 20 pounds. That one weighs in maybe 640-650 without boost.

Well no point in debating at all, I removed exactly 104 pounds from the sled total, and yes boost or not they are still a pig...but a very reliable pig..:) :beer;:beer;

My plan was to do the impluse kit on the sled, but with yamaha having a new chassis in the works that has a very good chance to be a factory turbo I'm waiting till we see what it is. The Diamond s titanium nytro looks very good at this time however. But my polaris is hands down the most fun sled ive ever ridden by far, you think it it turns, and end of day u are not very tired at all.

my boss has an apex turbo engine in a carbon fibre m7 chassis that comes in at 555lbs, ready to ride.

Chris, I love ur Nytro.

Also, your boss has what....an Apex motor in a cat chasis? So how does that make it an Apex. I'd think its a Cat with a bad *** reliable Yamaha Motor.

Like I said....Not a chance in hell his Apex is under 600 and no where near 555. So if you get Scott to build you a TI one great, but that sled will never be 555 without TI or Carbon. He advertised 555 now....BS.

That's just the color of money.

P.S. Nice Poo
