Weighed the Viper 162

The biggest problem last year was the sled shutting itself off on steep climbs because of low oil pressure and a deep snow bog from exhaust plugging. I'm sure both have been addressed

The oil tank was the only real issue last year and the fuel system layout is different with the Viper tank so i think a clamp issue was the deal there. 1100's never had that recall, just a bunch of other ones lol.

As far as potential other issues..... being guys that know this chassis extremely well doing custom 1100 builds since the PC came out 4 years ago (not 5 as stated several times) there aren't many. Most of the 1100 chassis issues were driveline related, with the Yami motor this doesn't exist. The only glaring one I can think of is the suspect reverse. I've never trusted it on the Cat and won't on my 7000 either. That's why so many don't complain about loosing the reverse with belt drives or ditching it for weight.

I think i am the one who stated 5 years in another thread so i apologize. i sit corrected i was close hehe.

But again guys who know this chassis doing custom one off sleds are more likely to catch potential problems and fix them prior to them becoming problems verses sled coming off a production assembly line where no one really has time to look at things that may become issues because the focus is to get the sled off the production line as quickly as possible.

The chassis is just going into its fourth year and so is only three years old. My 2012 M was the first year of the chassis AFAIK. I'm not counting race sleds.

If you count my 2004 REV as the parent, the current doo chassis is something like 12 years old.....

And paper mache has been around since the dinosaurs so the poo goes back to the stone ages.

Don't let numbers get in the way of facts...:face-icon-small-hap

LMAO!!

....and the crappy upper and lower steering bushings. Couple of good aftermarket options there thou so easy fixing.

Racewerx boards and bumper

Finally got around to installing my racewerx boards and bumper.. Fit and finish is pretty good I usually run cr stuff with the wider board etc but im liking the adjustabiity of these boards and all the traction.

Do you have any more pic of the T-motion upgrade?

this is a full baker skid but you can just add the rear shock arm & block, slide.you can get the pivot just in the back like the first pics or like this one front & back pivot.
