Just got back from the lake went out early this morning. Two crappie one drum and a perch, no walleye no pike I think I suck at fishin!

If you use a pipe bomb, all the fish float to the top. And you just pic the big ones.

Went to the lake yesterday, did good on the trout with a perch looking Rapla and black and yellow tommy cyclone.

10 channels and a 13 lbs flathead out of raccoon river from this past weekend. we fished at NIGHT! used bluegill as bait.

but we lost a biggest channel maybe 15-20 lbs but it jumped off the hook when my buddy pulled the line out of water.

What lake? I'm a MN resident and have just recently gotten into muskie fishing. Haven't boated anything as big as that one, but I did catch a little 36"-er on a top water bait literally 5 minutes (maybe 12 casts?) on my ever first musky fishing outing, which was pretty cool.

It was on Deer Lake up by St. Croix Falls, WI

I caught the only two Muskies I have ever caught on that lake within 30 minutes of each other. The one pictured was the last one. I caught a 36" Tiger Muskie earlier

Both were caught with a top water lure. My buddy was telling me "Dont put that lure on, they dont bite on this lake that way very often"

Hell, after I caught my second one, hey said screw it and put a top water on himself. He had two "follows" within the next hour but never boated one... lol

Archery antelope started on the 15th but really too warm to get into the mood. Got permission to hunt the large pasture just north of my house so been doing some scouting from the deck. Cooler weather is coming!

2 weeks out till I get to go chase some mountain mulies!
