I’ll play, these are all 2013 pics
My farthest shot at an elk. I sat and looked at this guy for about 5 minuets trying to convince myself to take the shot, he was 51 yards away. I’ve always told myself that I won’t take a shot at an elk more than 40 yards. I practice at farther distances for fun and am a fairly good shot but believe in a clean kill. I will not take a shot that I’m not sure of. I took the shot, I hit about 2 inches higher than I wanted to and he made it about 300 yards before piling up. The arrow blew clean threw him and was stuck in the bank behind him. Hopefully this year that arrow will get another one

She’s tiny, 54 pounds. My brother or I packed my rifle it’s a 15 pound rifle. This was her first buck. I felt like crap, her first shot was 257 yards. I dialed the scope wrong, she hit it but it wasn’t good. She begged me to just shoot it in the head (all we could see was it’s head) I told her we where going to give it a couple minutes to see if it would stand up and if it did to just shoot. I had the scope dialed right this time. 357 yards. It stood up and she squeezed the trigger. End of story, it didn’t take a step

I still had my tag and decided to take the day off work the last day of the season and go for a drive. I must have been serious; I took me dog and wasn’t going to shoot anything smaller than a 4 point. About 15 minuets after sun rise this thing fell over. I’m the wimp, only 215 yards and my dog was pissed when I told her we couldn’t shoot any more

Haha... I reloaded 200 on friday and me and my bro and his kid shot over 400 rounds on saturday!!! I think I'm on the negative side of life!!!!
Was fun tho and my bro's kid has never shot before so I set him up with my Ruger 10-22 assault stock and he blasted the crap out of every target we put in front of him!!!
We wasted some 7.62 x 39 and some 44 rem mags and shot some with the 10-22. Life just don't get any better than that!!!
