Dang it makes me mad how much power the Etec motor lays down when boosted, it's just a whole different animal on boost compared to the lil Poo motor.

Um any up hill deep pow... I get yes the "transitional" throttle .. But how about some climbs.. Is it a W2A? How does it hold on a 30 second to 60 sec steep pull? Just a question but do the doos live long on 10lbs.. ?

For the record. My T-Etec from Turbo Performance lives happily at 10 lbs of boost!

This sled was fitted with our off the shelf kit, 2860, 2.5 charge tube, pre cooler, baffled oil tank, just the basics.,

Is this something that a person can do themselves, or would the local doo dealership do it? Noticing mine isnt as snappy as it once was. Have read about the check valve issue but wondering how much of a difference doing this makes?

First thing I would do is change plugs if you haven't done that yet. I noticed at the end of last season mine seemed kinda hard to start and it idled lower than before, I replaced the plugs before this season and all is good again. The plugs I took out were way out of specs as far as gap.

Yes check plugs first of all. Then the next is do a leak down test on the motor and turbo. I bet you will find some leaks. There is not a sled that I have come in the shop that does not have some kind of leak somewhere. After taking care of that the sleds just flat out rock.

Are you guys just chucking them or can you gap them back to spec and re use them? My current plugs only have about 150km on them. But going through break in mode so maybe carboned up?
