Did someone say we're having a hippie shoot? Awesome, I have a pretty good recipe for hippy and it is easy, too. First you have to be very careful when you clean them, because you don't want to get any of that patchouli crap that they wear in the meat or it is no good. Then you need to soak it in milk for a good 6-8 hours to get rid of the gaminess (sp). Then i like to brine them overnight (salt/sugar/ and a few spices) Load em up with a good dry rub and throw them on the smoker (hickory or mesquite that is) for about 14 hrs and bon apetite! Very tender too, I think because they are so f'in lazy, but soooo good! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, HIPPIE it's whats for dinner!
