Awesome place to ride, some huge shoots, great trees, drops, tons of bowls etc. Excellent riding! I rode with some Klim guys and they said they had 1/3 the snow they normally have. We crossed over a creek several times that has never froze over this year. The snow was deep but the 2' of fresh settled to 6" by the end of the day. amazing area, so many places to go and rarely will see another group. There were at least 12-15 avalanches that day, only one guy was buried but his riding group rescued him.
Makes me wonder if the Colorado mountains will ever get the snow we expect in Feb-April. So far its looking pretty scary, temps in Denver and the western slope are 70s.
