Rode hard 10 minuts out. Found myself in a beautiful meadow, awesome snow, not a track anywhere, turbo's running great.

WHAM! A rock, that I have passed at least 3 times while backcountry skiing was about 4" below the snow. Snow was perfectly flat. Rock was the size of a car, I was probably going 20mph.
Regardless, i'm out two A-arms, and bent my steering post with my thighs as I flew off the machine. Nothing against the doo guys, but if I were on my old REV, i'd be calling the insurance agent right now!
Oh, I need some one ski riding skills. Took me 2 hours to get down! Once I got on the trail I was OK, but off trail I suck with one ski. Maybe I should just avoid the rocks?
