Want to "borrow" somebody's sled...is this possible?

should i list all the stuff i own too?

Are you referring to me?

I'm simply trying to add credibility. The most common question I've had in emails is "if you wreck my sled, what assurances do I have that you'll pay for the damages?".

I'll be happy to sign something and/or leave a large cash deposit to cover any potential damages.

One time I was talking with a guy about purchasing a large home who was trying to do the same thing. He told me that he was going to be building a 17000 sq ft home with a 5000 sq ft guest house in the near future but needed to rent this home in the mean time. I told him simply, "People who can afford a home like that dont go telling people they are going to build a home like that." Turns out the guy was a total crook.
All you did for me was make me think you were a phony. Not saying you are but your tactics throw red flags up all over the field.

So what would you recommend instead?

I simply want people to know I'm not an 18 year old looking to joy ride their pristine sled. I'm an extremely responsible, college-educated business owner. I'm not looking to steal or wreck anybody's prized possessions.

By the way, do you normally go around trying to ruin peoples threads, or am I just lucky?

LOL. you picked up on Freak pretty quick. Yes he does. he's a thread killer. But we love him just the same.

Ruby's Z06 is a sweet one. how he and Duner borrow wives is beyond me. odd.

good luck renting a capable sled. I suggest you come out and ride with the Mafia and you'll see one of everything and see them run and maybe do a pull or two. You CAN have my full mod for a day with SJ. :)

I already told you what to do, here it is again:

You should just plan to rent a sled and go out with a bunch of guys on here. I think we have all the new iron covered!!

I would definately consider this sled, its a smokin deal!!

Not much of a Internet sleuth are you.. It's Scarlett Johansson..

No you can't borrow my toys if you can't even find a picture that I can't quickly identify..

you can borrow my sled

Ive got a 98 phazer you can borrow for a day with a $5,000.00 deposit. Hmmm never mind the liability aint worth it if you kill yourself.

Brad took my sled out today, took very good care of it and was an awesome guy! Too bad he tweaked his knee jumping off the top of Tower Mountain at 30 mph!

If anyone would consider letting someone borrow their sled for a day, I can vouch for Brad and say that you don't have anything to worry about. Don't flame, don't ridicule, I honestly don't think anyone could be as mean to a sled as I can, so I'm happy to let anyone rent my TM7!
