Talked to my dealer last week and he "only" wants about $270 to put the o9 clutching in my 08x. Says to me that it seems to work pretty good. Seems pricey too me when a DJ kit is only what about $250. Let the comments and smart azz responses begin.

The '09 setup has different ramps...DJ's setup does not.....$160 for a helix, $90 for ramps, $30 for a primary spring.....sounds about right from the dealer. But why would anyone want that setup when there are better options?
no kidding^ Call winter or the many others on here and get a good kit if you want to spend the money. I'll bet if you have the dealer do it and it eats belts like Oprah eats honey baked hams he tells you to bad it no longer under warranty. Now that would be a laugh.

Send WB a PM, you can call him and he will ship parts. Don't waste money on the 09 setup...it's better than the 08 probally but still not good.
Ya dont have the dealer use factory parts because ski-doo fails to have the resources or the R&D time into the TRA clutch like some guy pumping out parts from some local shop.

He set up my 08 XP and I havent blown a belt and it has noticably more power! My hats off to him and would recommend anyone with xp clutch issues to talk to him!
