iam thinking of getting my walkers revalved by a local guy but what are the more known shops doing to them so i can tell my guy what to do to them. and i have rode other dragons and mine is by far the worst rideing one i have riddin. i weigh around 200lbs geared up

i know carls does them not what i was asking tho bud

does anybody know what they change????

we have our local suspension shop do all of ours... charges $35 a shock... we just have them recharged to 220 instead of the 180 they come with

do you have any idea what they do to them??? my shock guy is cheap also he does all the shocks around this area. i would be fine with my shocks if they rode like the other dragons ive ridden.

my right front shock rebounds awsome but dont seem like theres much there for dampening

There are a couple things:

1. Re-valve is just that they change out the "valving" inside of the shock to make it more specific to the rider (weight, style, terrain, etc).

2. Many shops do not change out anything, but rather replace fluid and do a once over on the seals, etc to make sure they will function as designed.

What specifically do you want from the shocks? Stiffer? Softer? more rebound?
Less?

If your shock guy knows what he is doing I would be asking him the questions you are asking on here. See what he says.

I just suggested Carls because everything I read they seem to really have the WE's nailed down.

There was a different piston and shim kit from Fabcraft. I had put the Fabcraft chambers on and when I didn't get them working right I sent them to Fabcraft........I think they work great now and they are adjustable 50psi. My suggestion is you get an adjustable shock. Problem is your buddy can revalve and adjust but it may not be exactly what you want and then you would have to get it done again. The Fabrcraft price has went up I think, website says almost $200 and I think that is per shock, but they are working great for me. Good luck

i can send them to carls or ect but i still dont know what to tell them it rides rough stacks up real bad. i dont need the chambers ect i just want it to ride like other stock dragons i would be happy
