WA snow bike conversion riders

I'm just finishing up my snow bike kit and looking for people to ride with. I noticed there were some snow bikers in here from a few years back but I couldn't find any recent activity in here. Where are you one ski riders at?

I am a one ski, ( SnowHawk 600HO )

I am heading up to Baker Friday mid day and am looking forward to my first one ski ride!!!!!

I have no idea how competent I will be on my first ride but currently planning on spending Friday night in the parking lot and go after it again on Saturday.

should post action pictures on Sunday :)

I'm down in Portland OR but since we're in the WA form I'll just call it "Vancouver area". If your down south looking to ride shoot me a PM.

I'm on 530 KTM with Timbersled St

Check the snow bike forum. There is 8-10 in my group riding Timbersled kits. Usually ride Mt Baker, Stevens Pass and all the sno-parks on Snoqualmie Pass.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if people are meeting up for snow bike rides there or in this forum. I'm going to try and do a shakedown run on Saturday wherever there's snow.

About 20 of us here in Wenatchee, Central WA. I commented on your facebook post, Pm me if you're headed this way, we need more snow over here still.

We ride south helens adams area
All on timbersleds/ im a dealer
Travis
All bigbore two strokes

I met you out at Gifford last year on Jumbo Peak and are the reason I ended up buying a kit. I lost your number but tried to call the one listed on the timbersled dealer list but it seems like it goes to someone else now. You were right, snowbikes are way more fun than sleds.

Before I commit to purchasing a kit for my bike I would really like to give it a try first. It looks like a blast. Are there any demo days or an event to allow test rides. I have a wr 450 I would assume that would be a great bike for the kit??

Thanks

Look on Timbersleds website and look for a dealer near you. Travis sells kits out of enemclaw.

Is anyone in the nw OR or sw WA area going out this weekend that wouldn't mind a newer rider to join in?

I'm on a 530 Timbersled ST and am not completely clueless...

I tried it briefly under adverse conditions. the weather was bad and the hawk was not set up.

With Tony "the SHA" spending literally hours I was able to get the hawk set up and now its a different story.

It is awesome. I had a great time ! I only crashed a couple of times and it was in soft snow. I now have the chance to understand how to turn and how the hawk likes to run at high speeds, before it feels rite.

I hit a hole and flipped over the bars but it was all good, would have been the same on a snowmobile.

Then I shared it with my brother and two of my other friends we all had a great time.

Only complaint is the amount of gas this thing uses

so far I think its my favorite way to burn gas.

sent the wife a spot location just so she wasn't worried.

I am so happy to be over the hump,I can say it is a whole lot of fun! I can't wait to get better at it.

Also my friends and brother really liked it.

I just need to prime and bleed the brakes and install the 12T sprocket and chain and it's ready to go

Well I see you have 2 stroke 300. How is that working out power wise? That's a sweet looking setup. I have a 98 KTM 380 2 stroke that I have been thinking about doing this to. Was just a little skeptical how well the 2 strokes work out.
