P paulharris Well-known member Jan 12, 2013 #2 not sure what you mean by "shaky", but sounds like you need a new brake rotor. its common for people to leave the parking brake on and get the rotor red hot and warp the Sh*t out of it. order a new rotor from yamaha. P paulharris Well-known member Jan 13, 2013 #4 A-if the brake rotor is warped it will be jerky when you apply the brake=not normal. replace rotor. B-or you have chaincase issues, have someone service the chaincase, take it apart and check it over.
