What is up with the pop up video ads at the bottom of my screen? Can't hardly get rid of them and when I do it pops right back up. Really annoying.

Yes you can, and unfortunately for us it is well worth it! I've been ad free for about a year or so now. I don't regret the slight up charge at all. For those interested PM Christopher or search for the No Ad thread (I tried and failed).
AD Block maybe another option for you. I tried that first but I had another software issue that was allowing them (Pop up video ads) anyhow (not Snowest related). FWIW
Ya, kind of like the local pooper scooper company cleaning your yard then dumping the dog crap on your front porch. Once you complain, they offer to take it with them and dispose of it if you pay them a little more $$

I am not sure if it is something new, or if it is just a temporary result of the new interface Harris created for the forums to support phone users. Have fired off a note to them asking. In the past they had told me they would NOT be running any more Auto-Play streaming videos on the site.
nothing like the moderator to put up a dead link that he is trying to get people to pay for. good job chris!

what web browser are you using? if it isnt firefox or google chrome.....download one of them. i dont care which one. if you use google and have a gmail account, i recommend google. its east to find and download. just search for them on google.com

so, now you have your new web browser downloaded. now search "add blocker". download the add blocker for your new browser. it is like an "app" for your smart phone. it will run in the background, and you wont notice it at all. it works on ALL web sites, not just snowest. adds will be gone, literally, GONE. look at my screen. this is google chrome running an add blocker on this website.

And that is the major failing of AD-BLOCKERS.
all they are doing is WHITE-WASHING your screen.
All of the content is still there, its just "Whited" over.
And you still LOSE all that precious screen space.
When you use our option for No-Ads, all of the content is REMOVED and you fully recover all of the precious screen space. It is a FAR better solution for those looking for the best possible user experience and performance.

All of the irritating, annoying ads should be DISABLED by default, and we can add them if we WANT them. This dude will not be paying another dime to remove ads (crap) that shouldn't even be there. AdBlock works just fine, and is FREE!

Yes it does work great timbre. It would be different if it was 15 years ago and a 13" computer screen was the standard size. Now I have a 21" screen, and that's probably considered on the smaller end now days. I don't even notice that little bit of dead space. And if they still have that damn video add that starts all by itself, add blocker is worth its weight in gold just to get rid of that frickin thing. I have no tolerance to:
1. Auto start video adds
2. Adds that flash bright colors to the point of almost making me have a seizure
