Video - 2016 SKS 800 RPM drop

Hi guys,

Late last winter I started experiencing a weird RPM drop when holding the sled wide open. The dealer checked the relays and all is well in that department, also no codes are present. They have adjusted the TPS (it was fine).

Any ideas?

Running stock pipe and can. Also stock clutching except for adjustable Dalton weights. It does this on multiple belts and its gone through more than one tank of gas.

In the video I never let off the throttle during the 2 RPM drops, the RPM drops to about 7700.

My guess is the temp,same as the pro once they hit 130f they pull timing and so on.
Just a guess but what it acts like.

Really? it never did that before though...

Did you try to add weight to primary, seem to rev too much.

Pretty sure i was seeing 8500ish on the tach. Might be hitting the rev limiter.

Yes it does hit 8500, I thought rev limiter was 8700. When I had her on the dyno we held 8600 rpm for a while no rev limiter...
