Your boss is not your mom. If he wants to put guilt on you for riding I say "screw him" happy employees make better employees. someone should point that out to him. I let my guys get away with murder but they are there when I need them and theres no complaints. If he values you as an employee he will be cool if not there no loss in leaving a job where you are not appreciated.

Sure he's the boss and can take his time whenever he wants, but if he cares at all, he'll give it too ya, if he doesn't, well, that says something about him to say the least

Be honest, we have a short season of good sledding, and cars will sell year round

Just tell him you want the time off, and you want/need to take it. If he doesn't give it to you. Then leave and find another place with your clients. You work on your days off and are never away from work even when at home with cell, as I have seen. He/they have to know how irreplaceable you are even to the customer as you go long past the extra mile to keep the customer happy. If you get the can and need work, and you can get your series seven liscense my bro may need the help and I know you can sell and keep the customer/client happy.

Prior to me making that commitment on work give me a call and I can put you two in touch, may work out may not, but may for both of you.
