Vanamberg tunnel

I have a Vanamberg tunnel on my Nytro, I bought the sled with it installed already. I have noticed that a lot of Nytros running the Vanamberg tunnels have smaller drop brackets, when mine have a huge tang that drops down to catch the rear suspension mounting point.
Does Vanamberg just ship out the tunnel with these over sized drop brackets and guys trim them to there liking?

I really don't care for the way mine looks at the moment with the large brackets, just finding out what others have done

Each tunnel is ordered for a specific rear suspension. Don't like the look, trim it off.

Yes, once you're happy with your suspension location, tack a magic marker and mark out where you want to trim. I used a hack-saw and then a file.

Im on my fourth. I like the tunnel except during spring time. The CR tunnel seems to have more side material behind the rear mount bracket and you dont seems to get as wet. In the VanAmburg, I find that as Im coming down hills in wet spring snow, it kicks up a huge amount of snow and my back gets soked. Dont get that with the CR.
