It seems to me that all the aftermarket companies build the same design these days. Not much originality anymore. Plus there are to many welds that like to crack and tight radius' that break.

I agree to a certain point take the nytro tunnels by: Cr, Alpine, Power Add. then: Lcc, timbersled IMO the only tunnels out there that are different from everyone elses are: Van amburg, diamond-s , Cr and the Timbersled 4 tunnels that look different again JMO. not to offend anyone but the other guys build nock off's. buy all means i do not possess the tools or the skill to build even a nock off but i feel as tho if i did i will try to build something unique.

Agree with your comment on all are kind of the same. BUT only so many ways to build the tunnels that people like that are tough. I personally am fond of power addiction racing tunnels. Tunnel

Do VE tunnels fit a 16 wide track? I thought I heard you can only run a 15 wide track.

I always build my own tunnels mostly because I like to but I also think there's always room for improvement. My pet peeve with all the Nytro tunnels out there is that everbody bends the main sections on a tight brake so where it mounts into the bulkhead there is a gap. I build mine with a tapered custom radius bend so the tunnel fits truly like the factory one. I had to make a custom die for my brake and its WAY harder to do and WAY more work but IMO fits the bulkhead the way it should. If a company is going to go to the trouble of mass producing something why not go the extra mile. JMO.

i had one of mikes tunnels on my vec for 5 years still looked the same after around 7000km on it never did bend the boards at all or crack any welds & i jump my sled allot with my fat a$$ on so thats saying something:rolleyes::D:D

Mad skill

M5- you have the skill and tools that i would love to possess to build my own tunnels also you have a tunnel that is unique.
:beer;:beer; Great looking tunnel!!!

It's true that most of the major mfg's are basically the same.

I've had 2 Van Amburg tunnels on previous sleds and had NO issues. For my Nytro, however, I went with the the Power Addiction (Brad Wurston...1200psi on SW)...for one reason...He makes his tunnels out of .090 instead of .064 like ALL the rest...significantly stiffer and stronger.
