Today the military won't come knocking asking for your gun. However as more and more restrictive federal laws are crammed down our throats, I could see it happening. I didn't realize that before a military operation that everyone got together to discuss what they felt was right or wrong.

I agree it's out there, but it is out there.
It would take a series of dominos all lined up.
1. triple digit inflation due to devalued dollar.
2. huge lay-offs
3. fuel prices at $10 - $20 / gal.
all of which we could weather... I think.
But, if you throw in an untimely 9/11 do over...
4. food shortages
5. stock market shuts down
6. banks shut down
Major cities would have rioting which could bleed out into suburbs.
7. majority of Police officers stay home to protect family
8. Firefighters and EMS do the same
9. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines... same
I agree, it's out there. But...
I would rather prepare and be wrong, then be right and not prepared.
Same reason I carry concealed. Hope I never need it, but if I do, I have it.

I have said that so many times about the US, but nothing everhappens, in fact it just gets added to and worsened. The good ole US needs someone with absolute power to make decisions, and only decisions. LEt this person, or panel, decide what to do witht he US and start the democracy over in 10 years when it is finally cleaned up.
No crooked judges
No crooked lawyers
No crooked politions
No immigration of any kind
Death penalty for violent crimes against another human being
Tax restructuring
Police have absolute power to judge what to do with criminals(as they should have no rights)
Much more.....Maybe even let people vote and decide by majority what to do rather than one political party. 1 governement, of the people and for the people.
I am so tired of hearing what this politition will do(and never does) or what they wont do(and always do anyway). Time to get the US back, and send all the bums off to where they came from.
