just wondering if anyone has imported a nytro with a tunnel into canada befor? if there would be any hassel/problems do to the vin on tunnel? is the vin even on the tunnel of the nytro? i know it is on most. thanks

I've taken my sled to the states quite a few times and that's something I've always been concerned about but so far so good. The few times I've imported a new sled they have checked the serial number on both the US side and the Canadian side so I think it would be an issue for sure.

I sold a viper with an aftermarket tunnel to "sidsuz" from Canada last fall. He had to take care of some stuff with the border before he came to pick it up. It sounded like everything went pretty smooth. PM sidsuz and see if he'll give you the info you need. I wouldn't let it stop you from buying a sled, as it sounded like it wasn't that big of deal to take care of the border issues.

ya im not worried about the boarder with the sled im just worried about the bolted on vin on the tunnel!!!! thanks

If you got the original tunnel with it I think you'd be OK so you could show them the VIN. I cross the border LOTS and it really depends on who you get that day, things can go smooth or they can really make your life meserable if they choose to.
