UNDECIDED

I had a chance to ride a 10HCR and a 09 M8 yesterday and found there handling very similar to my 09 D800.Yes the cat engine makes a little more power but it was noticably a shacking vibrator just like the 10 summit everst I tried last wednesday. The Polaris motors may be down a couple of ponies but they are WAY smoother. The Vibration on those cat motors would drive me nuts as I could feel it right thru the bars

DECISION MADE! Went and checked a 2012 RMK on Friday. Was having some second thoughts after doing so. However while riding out in Valemount this weekend I had the opportunity to take a 2011 for a few pulls on the hill from a more then willing owner. All I can say is I was very impressed :face-icon-small-hap. The power curve is so much smoother then a cat, and the climbing abilty exceeded my expectations! And yes it definately gets up on the snow quicker and didn't trench as bad as the Ol' Mountain Cat. All I can say is WOW.
Now I just have to figure out how I'm going to deal with all my sleepless nights thinking about riding my new Pro between now and December:face-icon-small-con

I have rode cats basically since i started riding (9 years ago) and a yamaha in the garage the last few years also. I am going with a proclimb 800 next year but hope I made the right decision. Sounds like the cat may be slightly tougher and more reliable, but poo may still get around a bit better in the deep pow in the trees. I have never had a polaris but if the proclimb does not make me happy next year it will get replaced by a pro. I think both will be great but wont know for sure till next season.:face-icon-small-coo Good luck
