Ultimax kevlar belts dropping rpm?

put on a ultimax Kevlar belt for my make and model and i dropped 150-200 rpms?

it was a smoking deal on a belt compared to a Polaris so i dunno?

Pretty common, softer compound. Waitng to see if the XS809 does the same.

The XS will likely exhibit the same manners or even worse. Don't get me wrong. I love these belts. The RPM drop is a good thing. It's caused by the belt NOT slipping. The compound is much tackier than the stock belt so it has a better grip on the clutch sheaves.
With the Ultimax belts you can have your cake and eat it too.

k sounds good! but im already running 64s when i should be running 66s......i think ill leave it max jumped up another 100 rpm tonight so i guess its getting close to what it should be
