There is a lot of people that have grown up the same way.. doesn't give reason to become a douche bag later in life... Sorry.. if he is like your big buddy or something.. but just cant stand him.. tried to talk to him many different times even before he was "famous".. he is a d-bag.. the end.. No different than another SD own Adam Vinatieri.. or the whole vinatieri family for that matter..
Now on the other hand look at Chad Greenway.... From SD... and one of the nicest people in the world..
Just to clarify things.....
If someone doesn't stop what they're doing to have a conversation with you, that makes them a "douche bag?
I'm just asking so that if I ever meet you I make sure to stop and be jovial & converse so that I don't later read on here that I am also a d-bag.
As far as being my "big buddy"?
No. He's 13 years younger than me, so we are not "buddies".
His brothers are closer to my age, and years ago partied with them.
And yes, after some drinking, fighting was not un-common. That's kinda what happens around here, if you kick someone's butt, there's always someone else ready to try you. Very few people get involved in these fights if they don't want to. No big deal.
I am probably over-defensive, for a couple reasons.
Usually his critics equate him to his WWE persona and actually resent how quickly he has risen through the ranks in the UFC. Well, he may talk the talk, but he damn sure can walk the walk & back up his "reputation".
Also, his family were neighbors of ours and I would certainly rather join those who celebrate their good fortune.
Those who continually scrutinize every move Brock makes because they don't "approve" are more often than not motivated by jealousy.
So if me being a fan of Brock offends you, so be it.
