two BDX oil injection delete questions?

maybe the catmastermechanic spends to much time in the classroom? seriously,if it didnt work you would think the kit would come with a 2 cent zerk.?

this is pretty controversial but there arent that many stories of bearing failure out there. I took a syringe and loaded it up with oil and squirted it up there before i capped it off. Thought i would do that once a year as part of the end of season maintenance.

i run 40/1 per BDX using blue Marbel. Love the weight savings and flickability gain. just do yourself a favor and put a sticker on your gas cap to pre mix so your buddy doesnt do you a favor and top you off.........

buddy? Hell, I've nearly done that to mine about 4 times now!!

A friend of mine just ran his racer without premix for a whole day, just before heading back he realized that he had done!!

(oh yeah, no grease in that racer...)


btw, the idea that you need to grease it often is silly. If it was such a porous area, we wouldn't have this discussion at all. If the grease gets out, then premix is getting in, plain & simple. I put grease in to be sure it was not dry for the first run, after that it's either gonna stay there or be washed out with another lubricant.
