Twisted cold air intake

SnowStar... Do you work with Shain?

Have there been any finished versions completed of the fresh air intake?

Is this the same one that Shain was working on with Paul Hurley (Fire N Ice), this past season?

What are you working on this year for your sled?

Mountainhorse, I work with Twisted Turbos and other builders for parts fabrication and some design.

There has been a few design changes the past few weeks but should have a final production product within a week or two.

I have a "thing" I have been working on all summer for my sled and others that has some initial testing and looks promising. I dont want to give up too much info on the "thing" yet until I have done all testing and know it works.

is he a older fella, belt drive/chaincase delete, huge areo turbo? if so, that is one of the sweetest sleds ive ever seen:face-icon-small-coo

and his custom intake was the nicest intake ive seen, no question

Shain.... I need a pic. I have money burning a hole in my pocket. 20 bucks Canadian right?

Looks pretty deadly. Are we talking a real tight seal between the two sides? Obviously it works... but kinda hoped to see a receiver for the pipe going up maybe with a big fat O ring or am I gettin too fancy?

This thing is going to make a big diff for charge air temps for sure. Great idea.

I swear I remember Shain saying that Cutlers cold air intake was all hype. Saying it didnt make any performance increase at all.

Now here is a Twisted cold air intake the resembles Cutlers quite a bit!:face-icon-small-dis

What up with that?:face-icon-small-sho

I heard through the grape vine that you have to remove your headlights, as that is where this system is drawing in air. Anyone know for sure on that. I would love to add this system to my new build; however, I do enough after dark riding where I need my nice bright stock lights. :wine:

it is mostly hype, this outside intake is only needed for those stupid deep days, and even then you still have to wipe your vents/hood every 5 secs
