just for information for the nay sayers I just got a cpi can for my 900 rmk and it is designed just as he wants to do enters from a single pipe into 2 seperate cans check out the pic on their site.

Both of you have flawed logic. Again I will state it: This is a muffler/glass pack designed for a single pipe. What McFarckle is proposing is using silencers from a set of twin pipes. Two different systems and two different applications.
McFarckle - no one is trying to put you down - we're only critizing the idea, not the person, please remember that. I'm just looking for an answer on what advantages you are looking for. If it is any advantage in any form, go ahead and do it, what's the worst that could happen? Instead of listening to us know-it-all internet jockeys, why don't you phone the manufacturer of the silencers you're using and see what they think?
