Twin Cities sled rental

Don't know if anyone in the Twin Cities can help me out. A friend and I are looking at riding in Northern Minn the first full weekend of Feb. He lives in Minn and I'm in Utah. He doesn't have any sleds in the Twin Cities any more, his sled is an RMK at my house here in Utah.

So we are looking at renting a couple of decent trail sleds for 3-4 days. We've got the trailer, just need a couple of sleds.

If anyone in the Twin Cities has any line on someone who rents in the area please forward me the info.

Are you looking to rent near the cites and then head north? Not too many stand alone rental shops (1 - maybe, based on local web search). Your best bet will be lodges or resorts in the area you plan to ride.

At this point I am open to anything. I was hoping to rent near the cities and trailer north. We're not really going to be "near" any lodges but I could stop anywhere along the way between Minneapolis and International Falls I suppose.

your coming from Utah to MN for trail riding?

Is your head on straight? I know lodges rent, but I'm sure you have to stay there, also most just rent out 500 fans or so.

Your best bet is too look North for a place to rent. Places in the City have gotten out of the rental market over the last couple years. Most dealers or lodges will be able to point you in the right direction up there.

I don't think Ash Trail rents sleds and Baduik is in Canada. They do have a shop in I-Falls but I don't think they carry sleds anymore. I think your 2 choices are http://www.ashkanamresortandlodge.com/ and Voyagaire Lodge.

I am coming from Utah to ride the trail in northern Minn... I've done it before and had a good time. We are going to be staying near Crane Lake so we have looked at that area for rentals. I check these other links you guys have posted.
