turbos for the flatlands

I run this one at around 700 to 1000ft elevation so far. 1" trail track, muffler thats pretty quiet. I usually race it on flat hardpack lakes. Its a lake race/trail sled. Ive had it up to 19lbs of boost on ice so far and 139mph in 660ft. was the result.

D&D 1200 cc with 9" clutch, GT35R/Tial turbine housing, 6 fuel injectors. I started with the standard m 1000 boondocker kit the first year and it worked great at my elevation. I wouldnt use the MSD fuel pump that comes with most mountain kits. At lower elevation you make more power and need more fuel. Get a bigger one. The MSD pump was out of steam at 14 psi boost with the original turbo on a cold day at 800 ft elevation. In two years of use, ive had no motor problems. Im on my original set of 1200 pistons. If you use a boondocker kit, I would get it from D&D. They seem to have a lot of experience with turbos at low elevation. Good Luck
