What is everyone running for clutch setup on there turbo xps. I'm running a turbo performance garrett kit with a shockwave helix not to sure on spring or weight. Also running 3k to 7k most of the time.

Hey there

Running same elevation range as you, running turbo performance aero 66 kit on my 08 xp:

White/white on my primary
19 grams of pin weight
QR2 dynamoe Joe helix
Black purple secondary spring
19 tooth gear

Hope that helps

413, 415 or 417 ramps
200/320 primary spring
19 grams pin weight
stock arm/stock roller

40/48 reverse angle helix
stiffer secondary spring...not sure on the rate
Hi-torque rollers

10 lbs of boost

primary
20.8 grams
160/350 spring
dj mountain ramps
usually run clicker 4. once in awhile use clicker 5 depending on snow conditions.

secondary
stock secondary spring
dj qr11 helix

10.3lbs of boost with gt2871, tial .84 stainless turbine houseing, tial external wastegate.
08 154. 155x2.5 challenger extreme and timbersled rear skid. 20 tooth top gear. stock bottom gear. 45t I believe.
I am rebuilding the clutches right now. going to try a 185/360 primary spring and putting in some fett brothers secondary rollers.

I am really happy with the way the clutches work right now. pulls good all the way from the bottom. quick recovery and consistant rpms. I like the lower engagement. Going to try the 185 start to bring the engagement rpms up a little. still not nearly as high as alot are runing. good back shift.

I been sending out the door 3 parts for T-800's...

1)200/350 green/pink primary
2)DJ Mountain ramps
3)NC-D2 helix, the one I use on etecs and big bores.
[QR11 is working fine too]

Guys supplying their own parts
21~22 grams
stock purple secondary spring
or 441's

A common calibration is
200/350
21~22g
clicker 4
purple sec spring
NC-D2 helix
Engagement is around 4000 however silky smooth when starting to roll forward when using the D2 helix.

I talk to guys who are looking for about 65mph track speed are using
20:49, 20:51, 19:49

Anyone with a turbo 2-stroke having a fuss, troubleshooting their clutching with whatever they have, can email me to bend my ear as a sounding board anytime. :face-icon-small-hap

thank you for the info joe. I might try your recomended setup. I got a clutch kit from you for the 08 as soon as it was available. then two years ago I got the qr11 helix and your mountain ramps. I have ran this setup for the last two years in my turbo xp. I might order the stuff to try your recomended setup for turbo xp's.
I was going through every thing last night. I have some older rollers still new in the package. I was going to install those. then I checked the ones that were in it and they were still like new. they are stock rollers with the fett brothers bushings inside them. i have had them in for atleast two years and they are still like new.

stock rollers I have are 9.1 grams each.
stock rollers with FB inserts 9.9 grams each.
