We here at Turbo Performance have been installing the vipec on our turbo kits since the first vipec came out. They have been working very well. We have been a little lax in promoting our full product. That is because end user concerns on our end not the vipec.

We Have been asking ourself " How can we give our full attention to our customers on this product? We are building kits as fast as we can and have no more time to spare."

Well guys and gals that problem has been solved! We have partnered with big man Cody Phillips! Cody has been in the car industry for many years. Building custom one off motec, aem, and vipec control systems for texas mile drag cars and some of the worlds fastest rzrs. We are laying down years of experience.

We will asure you that as a team. Turbo Performance and Cody Phillips racing, Will and can take care of any support or need you might have in the polaris and artic cat world.

Our packages will help you get the most out of you investment.

We can supply Vipec packages of
Turbo kits = 200-260 hp
Big Bore products = 212 hp
Head and pipe combo packages
All with vipec ecu controls

with more inovations on the way.

Looking forward to working with Bryce and Josh. We've been testing and tuning the VI-PEC for nearly a year now. We've got a lot of data and we've shared most of our results with Sebastian and Gino. They were very excited at what we're doing. I'll be working on posting some videos on how advanced the VI-PEC can be for some of our sled applications. Stay tuned.......

I'm also interested in whether you will have a vipec offering for the iq chassis? I'm holding on to my 09 dragon as its always done me well. However, I am in the market to boost it this season and am really liking all that I've been reading on the vipec system. So how about it guys?

It doesn't look like anybody is going to be offering the vipec for the cfi4. It can be installed on the iq but you would be on your own as far as a map.

Time, Give us some time. i have a dragon motor in my iqr, with three guys local that want the vipec that way. We have a very full plate.

This is my list right.

new xm chassis with turbo kit shipped molded cold air intake for xm, pro chassis turbo kit , will the new sled hold the power of a turbo, vipec on bigbores, vipec on cat 1100, vipec on pro climb, turbo upgrades of cat 1100, Building of parts, service to customers, bills, rmsha racers, 6= 30 min phone calls, ordering of part at machinist, snow west show in boise, test new products, find the 10 mm socket, family and kids, big boys open house today at 2, tires on trailer, oil change in truck, hair cut, get cost of turbo kit to dealer, meet dealer about products, drop sled off for warranty engine, and sleep.

this is no concern of anyones and everyone has the same kinds of lists.
it just takes time to build something plug and play and that is what is wanted.

I promise it will be on our morning meeting today!!

How well is the knock sensor system working on the Vipec compare to the stock Polaris ECU?

Is it possible to adjust the sensivity? and how hard it take off the boost/timing?

It's completely customizable to adjust the sensitivity, much like the other stand alones on the market. You can download the software from vipec's website and see all the customization you can put to it.

In my experience, I've been logging knock counts and voltages but haven't shown any in the logs. Mainly because I'm backing down the ignition timing as boost increases which most of the other options out there can't do. Also running better fuel will decreases the chances of the engine knocking.

Is this Vipec knock sensor system tuned to the Polaris 800s noice? Like stock Ecu systems? So it doesent go off on other noices like a bad bearing or so?

I'm not sure how Sebastian has his base map setup with the knock sensor. But yes they can be sensitive to engine noises so that's why you do need to play with the settings to get it to identify what knock actually is....

Do I need to do this om my engine/sled to identify this or is this done from Vipec?

Do the IQ's have the same plugs at the ECU as the Pro's? If they do that's a good start.[/QUOTE]

Yes. It will plug in. Just need one of you guys to put one on a cfi 4 and build some base maps. I almost pulled the trigger and bought a vipec last summer but I ended up backing out. I wish I would've bought it but I also didn't want to destroy my season

I will gladly pick one up if adapted to the iq. I have a 2010 assault turbo, i would love to run standalone. My car had a significant improvement when i moved from piggybacks to a hydra nemesis standalone. It woild be awesome to have that same improvement with my sled.
