Turbo M8 or Pro Rmk

lets go ride then i can get about 4 pros with turbos and bring them to, they all rip and no problems this new motor is so reliable even on boost, i have seen 4 to 5 cats get pulled out this year cause the primary clutch breaks thats not very reliable, and i have seen 0 pros get pulled out, you bought drews 09 twisted cat didnt you.

Yep, when and where do you ride.

Most of my comments are comparing a stock pro to a TM8, which there is no comparison. To be clear I have not seen any pro problems other than a weak as$ rear bumper. I would love find out the difference on boost. FYI its a 162 with a KMOD suspension. How much boost do you want to run. Whos kits are on the pros

okay we will have to get together, there boondocker kits and aero kits, 2 bd ones and one aero kit all running between 8 and 12 pounds.

yep have to give you that.... not quite sure on the primary clutch when lots of power railed to it.

i think there is no difference.

pro and m8 are nice sleds in deep and BD turbo work very good on pro. On m8 there are few good t kits.

just look what the best deal is for you. there are already pro for under 10k so just make a calculation and go riding

I would sell my rg Tm8 for $10000 and its a good kit and rips, so compare that to a pro for the same money without a turbo. The m8 will kick the chit out of it hands down, I prove that every week at least once. Both fun sleds but when you want to get r done its the TM8.

Interesting how brand loyalty seems to blind perspective. I have a 2010 TM8 and it’s a great sled, I used to be a Polaris guy but I made the switch based on what I felt was the best sled for me. Nobody can tell you if you’re going to like a sled or not you have to figure that one out yourself. The pro and the m8 are very close (in stock form) in all aspects except for power and reliability. The liberty motor is a proven dud, the new configuration IS NOT suitable for boost and they don’t make the power a cat motor will – that’s a fact. As for side hilling, I may get on the pro and not be able to side hill like you and you may not be able to side hill a cat like I can, everybody rides differently. I’ve seen guys go places on old iron that some couldn’t dream about going on a pro or M8. Quoting the Polaris slogan about how it will side hill means only one thing to me, their marketing scheme is working. If we are comparing a TM8 to a stock Pro its no contest, period, its physics. If we are comparing TM8 to TPro that’s a different thread.

Got a laugh yesterday, a few friends swapped sleds (PRO and a mod 2010 xp) after a few minutes of riding the xp rider was sure impressed with the pro and was saying how nice it was but he needed the xp style steering. Then he pointed at a hill I climbed and said, I bet it would go right up that. So we all said go for it and it did well but would not pull the last 10ft where it got steep, a few minutes later I told him to take mine up, he started with less of a run and let off 10ft before the top and rolled over the top. Everyone got a kick out of it. After that I was cutting lines they wouldn't even attempt. then turning around and coming back down them (a little scary but fun after it was done). Needless to say NO COMPARISON - boost vs no boost for the same money. I made the right choice, a friend might have some footage. I'll see if I can get it.
