Just looking for some info. What would be the best set up for a M1000 2008 pump gas turbo i was looking at OVS web site and they have both kits same price. My riding is mostly boondocking and trail riding,I dont want nothing that i have to tune constantly.Any info would be appreciated

The Aerocharger lubrication system is self contained therefore there is no need for a oil tank, oil pump and associated plumbing. Also, most Garret kits will run coolant to the turbo as well, so there is a bit more plumbing involved. That said, the Garret turbos are known to be a lot more robust and are much cheaper to rebuild. As for tuning, both kits would require the same amount of initial tuning.

I did a ton of reading on here and decided that an Aerocharger kit was not for me. I decided on a CPC (Cutler) stage 2. Give Dale Cutler a call 801-224-5005 and talk to him. He is very good to talk to and answered all my questions!

^^^^Great answer^^^^

I would also call and talk to OVS. They are about the only company selling both kinds of chargers, so they will give you the full run-down of the pros and cons of each one.

I went with OVS this year and I'm glad I did!! I asked them the same question mind you it was for a new M8 but they told me for reliability and that they have had more success with the Garrett.

i just bought the ovs kit on the sled i bought and i have to say the sled rips i do have an oil leak im trying to track down but other than than the sled screams at 12lbs
