it's not extending lower than the exchanger?

Yes, for sure it does - very similar to how a stock sled has an angled extension that the tail light and snow flap mount to. This will kit will protrude a bit further down than the OEM pieces.

You realize the track will hit your “invention”?

once you actually shorten the tunnel.

It's a XP cooler off a 154". Found the skid/bulkhead for free, as funds are tight and the MTNTK cooler was to $$$ for us canucks.
Pressure tested good, and we will see how the top side adds in for cooling.
Heading to Revelstoke tomorrow night to see if this was all worth it.
She's a mongrel now with skidoo cooler/bumper, and my powerclaw track. Just need some Yammy parts and she will be full tard.

Found a next to new bumper for $ 20, figured the upswing on it would be nice to have.
Sectioned out the bumper to 15-3/4" and plug weld and tigged her up. Pretty hillbilly up in here lol. Just need to trim the rear skid to match bumper and she will be buttoned up today !

I don’t believe this will be an issue but we will double check for interference. Thanks for the input!

Check the pictures in the mtntk thread where a guy destroyed his with trach contact........

Interesting.. Thanks for bringing that to my attention - it looks like it mangled the aluminum shroud an broke the adhesive seal causing a leak. This setup will be much stronger and should stand up to that but why design something that is known to have interference... back to the drawing board !!

I think using 1.5”x3/4” rectangle tubing would work.

some aero shaped oval tubing is available also. (Expensive though)

Yeah that size tube with 1/16 wall is very similar to OEM extrusion volume.

Thanks again for your input.

Don't know anything about the cr racing tunnel chop kit, but it looks good with the added cooler.

My Mtntk plastic fittings started leaking, so I did mine up with 1" x 1 1/2" x 1/8" tubing for the cross piece. Fitment/weld-up was a PITA but it holds water and is plenty stout. I also added the Mtntk 3' cooler under the tunnel just in case. Sled runs wwwaaayyy cooler now!

If you're going cheap like me and adding in a used doo cooler heads up that gates hose 20568 fits very well ...like $11 from rockland auto. Just need to add in joiner on the other hose plus clamps and ready to refill
