Tunnel Cut Mod?

Interested if anyone has done a tunnel cut mod on an XM?

Which tunnel cut?

Shortening them like the new G4 Experts. BBA is doing it (chopping 8" off tunnel) to all their Polaris sleds but wondering about pre-2020 Skidoo sleds. Looks fairly simple if you're a good TIG welder.

I haven’t done it but really wanna do it on my 2014 xm did you end up doing this

you’d have to remove the cooler, cut out however long you want out of the straight section, and weld it back together, finding a cooler from a shorter sled would be easier I think.

I’ve seen a couple 155s with a 163 installed and wasn’t super impressed, i’d almost be tempted to run a 163 under a 146 to get the same effect of the G4 expert.
