Tunnel Bag/Pack

Agreed.. I typically jettison my can once we start pounding a hill. Only planning on keeping some light weight essentials in the tunnel pack. Thanks

Too much weight on the back end is not going to help you sled float as good. If you do have a bag learn to eat what's in it by noon and pack just the essentials and as for the gas rack in the back same thing either drop it off or pour it in the sled.
You wouldn't believe how much 20-25 lbs off the back of the sled does in deep powder. Better weight distribution if you have a pack-sac.
I have an Polaris under seat bag, a Choko clutch cover bag and then my fuel rack and fuel can. Using the two rear seat bolts the Choko bag fits in between leaving 2" between the seat and the fuel can.

?

That bag looks nice on there. Thanks. Is it easily removed and can it be mounted further back on the tunnel, so a gas can "can" be mounted behind the seat? Thanks!

no it goes up under the seat

Not wanting to stir things up here but I hated the Polaris shovel bag, everything got wet and the zippers sucked. I ended up straping a Pelican box in a tunnel rack, worked much better. Sled Solutions on here also sells a nice water resistant tunnel bag with bungy straps and waterproof zippers. I'm not sure on the price difference, but it is a way better bag (buddy has one).

I recently purchased 2 of the Sled Solutions tunnel bags 1-mini and 1 large, they have to be the best tunnel bags I've had to date. So far no leaking or moisture inside, while evey polaris bag I've had (3 diffferent types) have all leaked or drawn in moisture. Price is a little more but would've save money if I went with these first. Also same with their handle bar bags great products.

I also picked up the Sled Solutions Maxx Tunnel bag and it works great. Dry inside and tons of room for anything you want. it also has the mounting for your extra shovel on the outside.

Try using "Camp Dry" on your Polaris bag each season. I wouldn't say it will make the bag 100% waterproof, but it does help alot.

NEW Pro Series Cargo Rack

There was another thread about the under seat back getting wet, I never used that bag, the tunnel bag I love, but I have the same deal as they do, it ain't waterproof. But the tunnel is hot so if you put a fabric bag on it and ride in powder its going to sit a pool of water all day

The best way is to get you tunnel bags off that hot tunnel with one of these just realeased bad boys :D

garbage disposal bags work good. put your stuff in them and place in your tunnel bag. that is how i pack my survival stuff. the garbage disposal bag is tougher than a typical garbage bag

Clearing out our 2011 stock guys, check out the year end pricing.

I have an Adventure Products USA bag that has lots of storage space, is mostly weather proof (it has a water proof cover that protects the zippers) and holds a shovel.

I have a Pelican box bolted to the tunnel on my 08 DRG700 and now a little larger one on my 12 Pro RMK. Love them. Keeps everything absolutely DRY and warm.
