Trailer lights

Your owners manual should tell you which wire/curcuit to use for the battery charge wire. On Fords, you have to add a fuse in the fuse panel.
Good luck,

Maybe a dumb suggestion but did you turn the key full on? Some trucks have to be on and others are live all the time.

Wires need to be hooked up

I have an 07 1500 and that has 2 wires taped up in the wire harness along the frame on the drivers side. One is for aux power and the other for brake controler. Mine has two studs just in front of the battery (drivers side) to attach them two. I believe the stud for the aux power also has to have a fuse put in. I got a print out from a local dealer as the owners manual is worthless. Hope this helps you.

pull the fuse box cover under the hood then remove the left fender to cowl brace 4 13 mm bolts-and pop the entire cover up .. in the front is a red wire on a stud ..there are 2 studs .move it to the other stud..1 is hot at all times..you might have to drill the hole out a little..
