Trailer and sled stolen.

Great news! Be sure and post or PM me on some of the details. It makes me a little nervous every time I park my trailer around this area. Glad they found it!:D

What we know

:confused:Heres what we know as of Wednesday 02/04/2009 We have the trailer back there are 3 places that have the vin on them ALL 3 have been removed and the trailer has been retitled in Utah which is not possible without either a lot of false paperwork or a DMV employee that did not check it out before giving them a new title?? The 2007 700 Dragon and clothing that were in the trailer are still missing and the man that had the trailer said that he bought the tralier from a St George car dealer that is no longer in business. The officer went to the site and found that there had been a car dealer there until 12/31/08 and at that time the City of St George had purchased the property and cleared the lot they are still trying to contact the owner. Here is were I get lost. The man that had the trailer listed it on KSL and sold it to someone in northen Utah. He has a copy of the check from the man he sold it to. After being question by the CCPD he went and bought it back from him so that he could turn in to the CCPD. So he bought it,Sold it,Bought it back,Then turn it over to the CCPD???????? WTF???

By getting the trailer back he might be out the money, much of which he might get back from insurance or the car dealer, but he's not guilty of selling stolen property. Smart move on his part.

Does he have the receipt from the used card dealer or is that part of the story just smoke??

I sure hope they catch the scum sucking pig that ripped you off! On a glass 1/2 full note at this point you at least have your trailer back!

Good Luck

Well man, I'm glad you got your trailer back, We'll keep hoping for the sled. That makes me so mad. Just the other day I was wondering how it's possible that my sled hasn't been stolen out of the back of my truck in the last two years. I was starting to get this idea that sleds just didn't get stolen, because every rider needs a buddy, and if any of us ever showed up with our buddies and told them we stole our sled, all of our buddies would punch us in the face and leave us stick in a deep ditch somewhere on the hill. Well, so I thought anyway. Good luck man, if you find the guy, I think we would all love to take a punch to the face...after you, of course though.
